Although this runabout was not built in this area, it was part of the picture of Georgian Bay around 70 years ago. She was lovingly restored by the Georgian Bay Heritage League after being donated to the Huronia Museum in Midland, Ontario. She is a product of the Chestnut Canoe Company, also famous for canoes such as the “Prospector” model used by popular outdoorsmen like Bill Mason as well as countless cottagers and trippers.
